IDEA

Founded in 2005, our society intends to form a platform for academics, lecturers, and teachers who study English Language and Literature, British Culture, and related topics.  The society aims at supporting the studies in English Language and Literature by organising seminars, meetings, conferences, and congresses and keeping the researchers in touch with one another. ESSE

ESSE (The European Society for the Study of English) is a European society that aims at supporting the studies on the language, literature, and culture of the English speaking nations. For more information about ESSE, please click here.  In 2005, IDEA became the 33rd member of ESSE. Therefore, we would like to remind you that to be a member of IDEA eventually means to be a member of ESSE.
